Currently in production is a fictional TV project for the German commercial broadcaster Sat1 revolving around the daily routine of a team of doctors at the emergency room of a Berlin hospital.

Managed by CEO and producer Sven Sund, Saxonia Media is one of the top five series producers in Germany. The company was founded in 1995 in Leipzig. In the past 24 years we produced over 1800 episodes of various genres. 35 TV-Movies and 100 evening filling crime-movies (Tatort/Polizeiruf) for Germany’s most successful TV-slot in ARD’s Sunday primetime. The award-winning German actresses and actors that we worked with include Christoph Waltz, Ulrich Mühe, Martina Gedeck, Sonja Gerhard, Martin Wuttke, Sylvester Groth and Claudia Michelsen. International series and films were realised in collaboration with production companies from Poland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Cuba, Austria, France and the Barrandov Studios in the Czech Republic.
